Pride in the Park
PrideFest 2021 continues at Riverfront Park in Downtown Lynchburg, Virginia, as we welcome food and craft vendors, community partners, sponsors, and LGBTQIA+ performers to celebrate Pride 2021 as a community.
Gates open at 1PM. Pride in the Park takes place from 1PM - 5PM.
All ages welcome to attend this FREE event.

PrideFest 2021 is a FREE event – you can enjoy the performances and explore the festival grounds at no cost. Food, drink and merchandise are available for sale.
A BUCK IN THE BUCKET:
Help keep PrideFest FREE! A group of community volunteers carrying rainbow buckets will be circulating the festival asking for your support. All donations made help directly cover costs of PrideFest 2021.
Pets are not allowed at Riverfront Park for this event, per the City of Lynchburg.
WHAT CAN'T I BRING WITH ME:
Items that are not permitted include, but are not limited to:
Coolers, Large Backpacks
Contraband (drugs and weapons)
Bikes, skateboards, inline skates
Flying objects (drones, kites, Frisbees, footballs, etc.)
WATER BOTTLE & COOLER POLICY:
Attendees will be allowed to sealed (unopened) bottles of water or refillable containers (subject to search)
Bags are subject to search
Water and other drinks are available for purchase from vendors
DROP OFF AND PICK UP:
The easiest place to be dropped off for the festival is conveniently located at 1100 Jefferson Street.

IN THE EVENT OF RAIN:
PrideFest 2021will go on, rain or shine.
EMERGENCY SERVICES / FIRST AID:
Emergency service will be available at PrideFest 2021. In the case of an emergency, you can find a volunteer who can radio for help or locate a member of the Lynchburg Police Department on-site.
Portable restrooms will be located throughout the festival.
If a child or person in your party gets lost please approach a volunteer immediately. Volunteers will have access to persons with radios, who can get you help right away.
YOUR PRESENCE IS YOUR PERMISSION:
Special photographers and videographers have been hired by festival organizers to document the event. Some images may be used in later promotional materials. Your presence at the event is seen as your permission for such promotional use by the non-profit organizers.
