Mark Bogia

Treasurer

Mark arrived in Lynchburg in 2016 to address a serious substance use problem at a local non-profit called Roads to Recovery Incorporated. He resided in one of the many Recovery Residences, where he embraced the Peer-Based Services and resources provided to him by their dedicated team. In a short period, Mark was working in their finance department and quickly climbed the ladder to Chief Administrative Officer. Mark's contributions have helped fuel amazing growth for the organization, and he hopes to bring the same growth to Hill City Pride.

In 2021 Mark started his own financial services company, E Street Financial, LLC, where he handles the day-to-day finances and payroll for 24 separate entities here in the City of Lynchburg.

Though both jobs keep him quite busy, Mark believes in the power of giving back to others. His desire for ALL people to have access to support, resources, and, most importantly, HOPE is strong. As a new board member with Hill City Pride, it is his desire to get to know much more of the LGBTQIA+ community in our area and to advocate for making sure the mission of this organization rings loudly for ALL to hear.

In his free time, Mark loves spending time outdoors with his two dogs, Morkie and Martha traveling to Rehoboth Beach to visit his family. He can be found hunting for mid-century treasures on the weekends and dining out with friends.
