Chris Badgett

Assisting Hill City Pride with event planning and social media needs, Chris was one of the original board members from its beginnings in 2019. Chris enjoys advocating for the Lynchburg Queer community and witnessing the community flourish and grow in strength and bravery. Outside his work with Hill City Pride, Chris also serves on the Board of Second Stage Amherst and works as a middle school choral director and high school assistant marching band director. Chris received his bachelor of arts in music education from the University of Lynchburg in 2013. He is currently working on his Master of Music in music education at Boston University, where he is expected to graduate in 2024.
